Terms and conditions
In effect since October 8, 2026.
1. Provider and acceptance
These Terms are an agreement between the user and ABRAHAM ISRAEL URIARTE ACEDO, RFC UIAA880613552, address PASEO DE LAS LOMAS 109, COL. VILLA LOMAS, TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA C.P. 22034, who operates Padel Index. By ticking the acceptance box, creating an account, purchasing a plan or using the iOS/Android app, the web version, widgets or related services, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the applicable rules. The system will keep the accepted version, date, account and the technical evidence required. If you do not accept, you must not create an account or use the service.
2. Requirements for use
• Be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. • Keep a single personal account per player. • Use the service only for lawful and sporting purposes. • Comply with the rules for matches, tournaments, clubs, payments and conduct. We may request reasonable verification of identity or age. False information, duplicate accounts or impersonation may lead to suspension or termination.
3. Description of the service
Padel Index lets you record four-player doubles matches, confirm results, calculate Index, manage Confidence and categories, view rankings, take part in clubs and tournaments, receive notifications, purchase subscriptions and share sports content. Padel Index is a private amateur ranking platform. Index, rankings, categories and recognitions are not an official federation ranking, a professional certification, medical advice or a guarantee of future performance. The platform is not a betting service.
4. Account and security
Sign-up and login are done with email and password or Apple/Google OAuth. Phone number is part of the profile but is not a login method. Club is optional and can be added after sign-up. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, your device and any activity carried out from your account. You must report unauthorized access immediately. CURP, phone and email may be used to detect duplicates and maintain sporting identity. You may not sell, lend, transfer or allow another person to use your account.
5. Plans, prices and access
• Individual Plan: $79 MXN per month. Personal access to sports features and the benefits shown on the purchase screen. • Club Plan: $199 MXN per month. Access to club management features and the benefits shown on the purchase screen. Prices are in Mexican pesos per month unless the purchase screen shows a different currency. Applicable taxes, fees or conversion will be shown before you confirm. Regular access requires an active subscription, except for legal, account, cancellation and support features, or others that Padel Index keeps available. The exact benefits of each plan are shown before purchase. If there is a difference, the description confirmed on the purchase screen and the receipt will prevail, without reducing acquired rights or contravening these Terms.
6. Renewal, billing and cancellation
Plans renew automatically every month until cancelled. Before you subscribe, the billing period, amount and estimated charge date will be clearly shown, and your express, informed consent will be requested. Padel Index or the relevant provider will notify you of automatic renewal at least five calendar days before the charge, where applicable law requires it. You can cancel immediately and without penalty from the relevant channel. Cancellation prevents future charges; access may continue until the end of the period already paid. • iOS: purchase, billing and cancellation through the Apple App Store; RevenueCat syncs access status. • Android: purchase, billing and cancellation through Google Play; RevenueCat syncs access status. • Web: billing, customer portal and cancellation through Stripe. Deleting the app or your account does not guarantee cancellation of a subscription managed by a store. Before you delete your account, the flow will show the cancellation channel and steps. Padel Index will not make mobile charges outside systems authorized by Apple or Google.
7. Refunds, payment failures and price changes
Refund requests are handled through the purchase channel and under applicable law. Mobile purchases may be subject to Apple or Google processes; web purchases, to the Stripe and Padel Index process. Nothing limits your non-waivable consumer rights. If a payment fails, access may enter a grace period or be suspended until resolved. You will keep access to cancellation, support, receipts and your legal rights. Price changes will be announced before the next renewal and will require acceptance where applicable. They will not apply retroactively.
8. Index and match scoring
Every player starts with 1,000 Index points. Index is cumulative and does not reset at the start of a new semester or year. In confirmed regular matches, the current engine calculates each player's change using the result, the opponents' average Index and the sporting margin: • Win: base of +10 points. • Win in two sets: +5 additional points. • If the winning pair's total games are at least double the losing pair's: +3 points. • Win against a pair with a higher average: +5 for every 100 points of difference, up to a maximum extra of +25. • The losing pair receives an equivalent negative change, keeping a zero-sum model for that match. Official tournaments may use special rules announced in the tournament call. Padel Index may correct calculation errors, annul fraud or change the methodology going forward. Material changes will be communicated before they apply and will not alter closed results except in case of error, fraud, dispute or legal requirement.
9. Categories
The active categories are 6th, 5th, 4th and 3rd. Ordinary changes are processed in June and December using the current Index: • 6th: moves up to 5th on reaching 4,000. • 5th: moves up to 4th on reaching 6,000; drops to 6th below 1,000. • 4th: moves up to 3rd on reaching 8,000; drops to 5th below 3,000. • 3rd: drops to 4th below 5,000. Users cannot change category freely. Exceptional requests require review. Padel Index may adjust the criteria going forward to preserve competition, with adequate prior notice.
10. Confidence
Confidence reflects the solidity of your sporting activity and is calculated automatically from cumulative objectives. You do not need to complete every objective in a block: reaching the points threshold gives the block its full weight. • First Steps: 30 points, full contribution of 10%. • Competitive Level: 100 points, full contribution of 30%. • Tournaments: 300 points, full contribution of 30%. • Consistency: 110 points, full contribution of 20%. • Conduct: 30 points, full contribution of 10%. Objectives consider profile, matches, distinct partners/opponents, club, performance against higher Index, PI tournaments, streaks, monthly compliance and report-free play. Corrected data, annulments or sanctions may increase or decrease Confidence.
11. Monthly participation and limits
• Maximum: 10 ranking-valid matches per calendar month. • Minimum: 6 valid matches per month, equal to 60%. • The first month after sign-up is exempt from the minimum and the penalty. • Non-compliance: −10 Index points for each match short of 6. • Maximum: 2 ranking-valid matches per day. • Same individual opponent: maximum 3 matches per month, regardless of partners. • Valid matches are played between players of the same category, unless an exception is authorized. Excess matches, out-of-category matches or matches that breach the limits may be kept as history, rejected or left without affecting the ranking.
12. Recording and confirming results
• The result must be recorded within 48 hours after the match. • One of the players records the score; at least one member of the opposing pair must confirm it. • The opposing pair has 48 hours from the record to confirm or dispute. • If no action is taken within the deadline, the result may be validated automatically. • A disputed result stays pending without affecting Index until reviewed. • Padel Index may confirm, correct or annul after analyzing evidence. Users must keep reasonable evidence when a dispute exists. Providing false information is a serious violation.
13. Suspension, cancellation and abandonment
A match must be completed to count. If rain, lack of time or another external cause suspends it, it may be resumed keeping the score, but it must be rescheduled within 30 days of the suspension. A suspended match that is not rescheduled within that period expires and does not affect the ranking. While a match has not been played, its creator or the opponent who invited can cancel it, and the other players can leave it. None of these actions can be taken during the 2 hours before the match starts. Unanswered invitations or matches with unfilled spots expire 48 hours after the scheduled date. Unjustified voluntary abandonment may be recorded as a 6-0, 6-0 defeat in favor of the opposing pair.
14. Inactivity
Failing to meet the minimum participation may result in INACTIVE status. During that status, the user may temporarily stop appearing in certain standings or rankings. Penalties, reactivation and effects will be shown within the service.
15. Clubs
A club may be created and managed by an authorized owner. The owner is responsible for the accuracy of the name, address, description, photo, invitations and member management. The invitation code must be shared responsibly. The Club Plan does not transfer ownership of the platform or guarantee any number of members, position or results. Padel Index may review names, images or content that infringe rights, mislead or are offensive.
16. Tournaments
PI100, PI250, PI500 and PI1000 tournaments may have their own registration, deposits, balance, capacity, requirements, scoring rules, prizes and cancellation terms. The specific tournament call supplements these Terms and prevails on particular matters without reducing legal rights. Registration is confirmed once the stated requirements and payments are met. Refunds, substitutions, cancellations and force majeure will be announced before payment. The organizer and Padel Index will be responsible within the scope declared in the call.
17. User content
You keep the rights to the photos, texts, reports and content you provide. You grant Padel Index a non-exclusive, worldwide license, revocable once the processing is no longer necessary, to host, reproduce, technically adapt, display and communicate content solely to operate, protect and promote the service feature you chose. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights and authorizations. Do not post sensitive data, images of third parties without permission, or content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, sexual, violent or infringing.
18. Prohibited conduct
• Recording a non-existent match, a false result or an altered score. • Agreeing on results or coordinating an artificial transfer of points. • Using multiple accounts, someone else's account, unauthorized automation or impersonation. • Exploiting bugs, evading limits, interfering with security or mass-extracting data. • Harassing, threatening, discriminating against, assaulting or insulting others, or cheating. • Making unauthorized charges, bets or promotions through the platform.
19. Moderation, sanctions and review
Depending on severity, evidence and repeat offenses, Padel Index may warn, invalidate a match, correct a score, adjust points, limit features, temporarily suspend or terminate an account. Urgent measures may be applied to protect users or the integrity of the system. The user will be informed when reasonably possible and may request a review at AURIARTE@SPORTSTRAVELS.COM.MX. Fraud, security risk, legal requirement or protection of third parties may limit the information disclosed.
20. Notifications, widgets and sharing
The service sends operational communications about matches, results, ranking, category, Confidence, clubs, tournaments, account, security, billing, maintenance and updates. Widgets show sports data on the device screen. The user decides whether to enable them and accepts the risk of visual exposure to people with access to the device. The share feature generates an image with selected data, including a photo. The user chooses the platform and recipient and must respect third-party privacy and rights.
21. Intellectual property
Padel Index, its name, logos, design, software, structured databases, texts, graphics, method and original content belong to the provider or its licensors. Your account grants a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the service under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, decompile, create derivatives, remove marks or use the platform to develop a competing product, except for non-waivable rights permitted by law.
22. Availability and changes
We aim for a secure and continuous service, but there may be maintenance, failures, network interruptions, third-party changes or force majeure. We will announce relevant maintenance when possible. We may improve, replace or withdraw features for security, compliance or product evolution. We will not arbitrarily remove paid benefits during the current period. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
23. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Padel Index is not liable for injuries arising from sports activity, players' conduct, club conditions, organizers' decisions, users' false data, third-party services or events beyond reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including willful misconduct, gross negligence, consumer rights or data protection duties.
24. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using the service, cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. When you delete your account, data will be erased or anonymized after legal blocking and retention periods. Some records may be kept for tax obligations, fraud, disputes, sanctions or legal defense. If you own a club, you must delete the club before deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment or legal requirement, respecting review and consumer rights.
25. Privacy
Data processing is governed by the Comprehensive Privacy Policy. By using the service you confirm that you have read it. Specific consents will be requested when legally required.
26. Changes to the Terms
The current version will be published within the app and the web. Material changes will be notified before they take effect. When a change requires new acceptance, access will be conditional on an express checkbox. Prior use is governed by the version accepted at that time.
27. Governing law, consumers and disputes
These Terms will be interpreted under the laws of the United Mexican States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable at the consumer's domicile. For disputes, the parties will seek a solution through support. If it is not resolved, they may go to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) and competent authorities. Proposed contractual jurisdiction: TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, without prejudice to the consumer's right to choose a forum permitted by law.
